Debunking Darwinism, Racism, Progressivism & Cessationism | with Kevin Thom (kingkat 2.0)

The Lord has used Kevin as an integral piece of my own testimony, which you’ll hear about in this episode where we dive into a whole plethora of topics with a somehow seamless flow that only the Holy Spirit could be responsible for!

 

In this episode, we start with Kevin’s story about how growing up in the melting pot of NY with many backgrounds/religions led him to questions about the Bible: is it true, who is Jesus, and is He God? This led him into the world of apologetics, as he recognized that his Catholic upbringing didn’t prepare him for hard conversations to justify his faith. However, his journey in the apologetic realm only got him so far as he eventually recognized that a person can know arguments ABOUT God without actually KNOWING God - that one can have an intellectual mind with a hardened heart - and with that, Kevin had a break down in his room and told Jesus he needed him. It was then he not only had an answer for his head, but for his soul.

 

But his radical, heartfelt faith didn’t negate Kevin’s love for apologetics, as he was challenged by an atheist friend for serving the “white man’s religion,” which led him to his study of the secularist/atheistic worldview that is ultimately rooted in macro-evolution/Darwinism. Kevin found that Darwin’s famous book was originally titled “Origin of Species: the preservation of favored races” which, of course, is not how the book is presented to us in schools. Darwin actually believed that black people were a subspecies - so, ironically, it was Kevin’s atheistic friend’s worldview that was racist, not Kevin’s.

 

Our conversation here leads into progressivism, how Darwin will never be cancelled in the face of BLM culture because Darwinism is the undercurrent of the Marxism overcoming our present society. Kevin goes deep into the misconceptions of “racist Christianity,” explaining that the complete face of racism has a spirit behind it.

 

From there, we talk about progressivism seeping into the church, including how much of modern Christianity proclaims the gospel of love, watering down the true gospel of power. Kevin really goes into these issues within the body of Christ - how we have completely intellectualized the Bible, as he once did. He discusses how the Kingdom of God is not just talk, but power — and because we live in a culture now that is now overall hyper-spiritual, the Lord is forcing His church to get uncomfortable, stand up, and not only preach the Word of God, but actually demonstrate the Word of God.

Here is part two, my final episode in "Should Christians Listen to Taylor Swift?" series - which, if you can't tell already, is intended for Christians. Christians who don't just call themselves Christians, but have a real desire to walk the narrow road that leads to life and give all glory to God.

 

When you yolk yourself to idol worship, you're not only yolking yourself to sin, but to the spirits in which that idol is yolked ti, By biblical definition, Taylor Swift is a witch.

 

By biblical definition, Taylor Swift carries the spirit of disobedience that is present within all children of wrath whom (knowingly or unknowingly) obey the devil.

 

She doesn't need your thousand dollars per ticket, she doesn't need you screaming & crying at the sight of her and feeding her flesh, she doesn't need you defending her against the gospel -- she needs you to be interceding for her.

 

She needs to be number one on your prayer list, not your play list.

-the consent celebrities gives to demons to infiltrate their persona and thus... the consent we give demons to infiltrate our persona through the constant lack of guarding our ears/eyes/hearts as Scripture commands

We talk about how her ghost hunting was less about doing good and more about feeling good, touch on the ghost of Samuel and how the details are irrelevant because ultimately God draws a hard line in the sand for US to stay away from all mediumship and divination and get vulnerable in discussing how someone may ‘miss’ old elements of life before Jesus.

Ex-Ghost Hunter Turns to Jesus | pt. 1

It has been nearly 5 months since I recorded an interview for Heaven & Healing podcast!

And my first time in my new studio! This is a good one, y’all!

 

In this episode, I have a great conversation with my friend Tina Constanza (maiden name Storer), a voice-over artist who used to be a full-time paranormal investigator. She was featured in several shows on the Travel Channel and even aired 1 season of her own show, Ghost Bait, before totally surrendering her life to Jesus Christ 2 years ago.

 

This is her first time sharing her full-length, public testimony!

 

Tina talks about how living in the world of ghost-hunting served as a sliding board right into practicing New Age because — surprise — it all comes from the same source: Satan. She tells us about her terrifying experiences, how she was physically bullied by demons, saw horrifying creatures straight out of Insidious, and connects the dots of how this lifestyle was directly correlated to her chronic psoriatic arthritis that Jesus immediately delivered her from after her repentance.

 

We discuss the one theme I always come back to: importance of ceaseless prayer that the lost sheep will be found by the Shepard. Her father and step-mom are devout Christians who spent decades praying for her salvation.

 

After giving her life to the Lord, she threw thousands of dollars of ghost-hunting equipment and her New Age toys.

 

This is more of a candid talk than it is an interview, as we get into raw topics such as comparing our walk with the Lord, fear of man in sharing our testimony/the gospel, suffering as a Christian, and even that “d” word that is quite the hot topic right now…

Suicide Ideation is a Spiritual Awakening? Umm, No... | pt. 1

Only a New Age teacher would say something like “suicide ideation is a symptom of spiritual awakening.”

 

We hear stuff like this all the time within this dangerous, psuedospiritual community: “people mistake wanting to die with an ego death,” “we carry karmic loads from previous lifetimes that we must unpack in this life to usher soul growth,” “your suffering is teaching you how to expand” and other nonsensical expressions that sound like a prophetic answer to the untrained, vulnerable, desperate ear.

 

Of course, none of it is true. It’s all a deception, authored by the enemy and designed to lure you further into the trap of satanism gift-wrapped as “self-healing.”

 

This two-part episode is a response to popular New Age teacher Christina Lopes’ recent YouTube video where she ‘explains’ the spiritual ramifications of suicide ideation, presenting pantheistic and Buddhist concepts as justifications to one’s suffering. Christina says there is no eternal punishment for suicide (or anything), that our soul comes back over and over to achieve eternity (?), that someone who wants to die is simply having an ego death, that the planet is a conscious being going through “her” own soul expansion which affects our own, and that we should seek out shamans for support.

 

In part-one, I address her reasoning as to WHAT suicide ideation is and why it’s utter hogwash by challenging the inconsistencies and pitfalls of her New Age frame with a solid, coherent biblical frame.

 

In the part-two members-exclusive, I tackle her illogical, manipulative perspective as to WHY suicide ideation is on the rise and the SOLUTIONS she offers in the face of that — and bring it all back as to why JESUS is the only Way, Truth and Life despite how many self-proclaimed spiritual gurus claim otherwise.

Live and Let Live: Respecting Others’ Beliefs

The punch-line with this episode is that it’s actually not at all about why we should “live and let live,” but actually quite the opposite.

 

Episode 19 of Heaven & Healing Podcast is about why Christians must be bold in standing against “live and let live” and not be gaslit by New Agers, secularists or the woke mob by being told we ‘need’ to be respectful of others and ‘stop trying to force’ our beliefs on them; this episode is an encouragement to believers to be bold in their faith and unashamed in proclaiming the gospel of Christ as THEE universal, objective truth.

 

As a Christian:
Are you constantly worrying about what friends, family, loved ones, acquaintances will think about you for speaking on Christianity?
Do you feel backed into a corner when you try to expose spiritual darkness and are met with angry responses that demand you be more kind to others?
Do you sometimes think that it’s innocuous enough if others’ just live how they want/love how they want/practice what they want so long as they are happy and seemingly harmless?

In this discussion, I reflect on my personal experience with persecution and use biblical context to explain why it’s to be expected and why we can delight in it when it happens. I talk about the inconsistencies of logic that New Age spiritualists & secularists use when it comes to their ideologies, why relative truth cannot exist, human rights that we think we’re entitled to vs. Creator right’s that God Almighty IS entitled to, how it IS actually loving to tell the truth, satanism of self-idolatry disguised as compassion and why, when you unpack the beliefs against opposing worldview, Christianity is indeed solid as a rock.

 

I will not be in the business of partnering with darkness for the sake of being ‘tolerant, accepting and nonjudgmental;’ I will continue to speak out on the falsity of other religions/beliefs in affirming that Jesus is the True Way, and I pray the same confidence in faith for you.

 

Don’t let them make you feel crazy.
Don’t let them beat you down with inclusivity.
Don’t go out of your way to insult someone — but don’t feel guilty if you insult someone for being honest.

 

Live and let live doesn’t save anyone.
