Welcome to Heaven & Healing Podcast. Formerly known as Moon and Back Podcast, this was once a place of astrology, yoga, new age spirituality and self-healing. In October 2021, I opened my heart to Jesus Christ and accepted Him as my Lord and Savior later that year. By December, I was convicted by the Holy Spirit to rebrand my podcast and denounce new age spirituality as I officially declared my identity in Christianity. On February 22, 2022, Heaven & Healing was officially born. On Heaven & Healing, I share testimonies from others who have been saved by Christ - from other former new agers, to former witches, former addicts, former atheists and so much more. I also bring on Biblical scholars to share knowledge of the history, context, and meaning of Scripture. Additionally discussed are experiences from my own life, political commentary and cultural discourse as it all relates to God and His Word. For any believer or non-believer, this podcast is for you, in Jesus’ name. Amen!

The two discuss their personal Holy Spirit conviction on Christmas as two former New Agers, what they are doing as parents, talk Santa, where we as believers draw the line of “paganism,” the core values of Christmas alongside the core values of Scripture, how this holiday is (quite obviously, radically, almost obnoxiously) different than celebrating Halloween, idolatry, the out of context Bible verse folks love to use in dispute of trees, and our job to - as the saying goes - keep the CHRIST in Christmas!

In this candid, vulnerable conversation, Angela shares for the first time the entire testimony of her eating disorder and how Jesus completely delivered her from that bondage.
Angela struggled with food obsession and closet-eating a majority of her life, which led to her gaining nearly 300 lbs. After her grandma died in 2014, she joined a cult-like MLM that guided her to lose nearly half of that weight.
Over the years, Angela's mission to be healthy unfortunately became an extremely unhealthy obsession, leading to body dysmorphia which led her to eventually become underweight, accompanied by a handful of physical ailments in her early-mid twenties. Throughout the entire process of her weight-loss journey, Angela developed binge-eating disorder, falling into a cycle of consuming nearly 3000 calories in one sitting, followed by self-hate and self-harm and intense restriction before the pattern would repeat itself. Angela tried everything. Therapy, macros, food scales, fitness coaches and more. But from 2015 - 2021, the eating disorder only continued to morph and evolve: from intense vanity, to intense self-loathing.
When Angela got saved by Jesus in 2021, everything changed.
Through new identity, sanctification and deliverance, she was finally set free of the bondage she had been captive to most of her life... Shortly after, she became pregnant with her first child. Tune in to hear the whole story.

In this episode, Angela braves the waters of a topic that is bound to trigger many...
That is, how identifying as a republican doesn't make you a good person, and how being on the "right side" of politics won't save anyone.
Angela attended a national conservative convention back in June 2023 when the Lord put this issue on her heart to speak on at large: that there are way too many conservatives who claim Christ without abiding in Him, how Christ is missing ALTOGETHER from many conservative spheres, and how conservatives have the same dangerous tendency as leftists to create an idol or identity of their politics which creates the false notion of self-righteousness.
There is discussion includes, but is not limited to, the dangers of conservative influencers obsessed with vanity & pop-culture, political ally does NOT equate to philosophical ally, that conservative values all actually derive from the Bible, how the savior complex of politics is a massively distractive deception, the golden-calf of Donald Trump, and the obsession Christ-less conservatism has with "winning back the country" when the TRUE GOAL should be to WIN SOULS TO JESUS!
The truth is... Christ-less conservatism does not hate sin. It just hates leftism. So really, Christ-less conservatism is no better than leftism... We CHRISTIANS shouldn't forget that. Conservatism isn't saving anyone Only faith in Jesus Christ can do that.
TO BE CLEAR... Angela is in *NO WAY* condoning leftism for anyone immersed in the Christian faith, as any true Bible-believing follower of Jesus would never vote for nor identify with their blasphemous, murderous, antichrist policies.

Angela reacts to world-renowned tattoo artist Kat Von D's recent baptism, professing her faith in Jesus Christ!
In July 2022, Kat began to publicly renounce her occult practices with an Instagram post that she was discarding books about witchcraft. Fast-forward to October 2023, it appears Kat has indeed crossed the threshold of total surrender to Christ in repentance of her sins with a public declaration of His Lordship and her new life in Him via water baptism!
Praise God for all the souls being won from the deception of New Age! Let's continue to pray for Kat on her sanctification process.

At the time of this recording, Angela shares her experience of pregnancy thus far at 23 weeks, being very vulnerable with her early onset symptoms of nausea, morning sickness, fatigue and more that really tempted her away from her faith in Jesus Christ.
In this short segment, Angela explains how the Lord used the first trimester of "refinement in restoration," to reveal to her the importance of crucifying the flesh, not letting feelings or circumstance define a believer's identity, mind renewal in the Word of God, and dying to the self to live alive unto Christ even during seasons of struggle.
Praying that this episode would be edifying and encouraging to any pregnant mamas out there, to really use this season of stillness to really deepen and integrate their faith in Christ like never before!
